- A range of housing renewal and energy saving assistance grants
- Advice and enforcement action in relation to housing standards and conditions in the private sector

The Council determines what it will do with its partners to improve quality and increase choice of housing through its housing strategy. A draft new housing strategy for the whole of Fylde Coast has recently been produced through joint working between the boroughs of Wyre, Fylde, and Blackpool. It sets out priorities for the whole Fylde Coast housing market area and will be complemented by an action plan for Wyre BC that will be developed in the first part of 2009.
