  1. Follow the footpath through Claylands to the footbridge over the River Wyre and across the fields to the railway line. Turn right then left under the railway bridge, cross another field and follow the path to the road through Scorton.
  2. On reaching the road, turn right and then left along Tithe Barn Lane, after passing under the motorway look for a gate on your left and cross the field into Ghyll Wood. Follow the surfaced path through the woodland until you walk uphill to a kissing gate where the path leaves the wood.
  3. At Snowhill Lane, turn left and follow the road back into Scorton to the Priory then turn left and walk through the village until you reach point 2. From here, you can retrace your steps back to the railway bridge and the path back to Claylands.
