Poulton United Reformed Church Disabled Conveniences
Most of us don't give visiting the shops a second thought. But many disabled people are unable to visit the shops or go for a meal because standard accessible toilets do not meet their needs - or the needs of carers.
Thousands of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities cannot use standard accessible toilets because there is not enough space or the equipment to help people.
When Poulton United Reformed Church rebuilt their church they were able to add a disabled changing suite with space and equipment to the meet the needs of all people.
The suite is available 24 hours a day for anyone who has a Radar key. Radar keys are available from the church, the Civic Centre or online at RADAR.
These conveniences have:
- Ceiling hoist with medium or large sling
- Adjustable height adult size changing bed
- Two dedicated parking spaces
