Grounds Maintenance
Wyre Borough Council is responsible for the grounds maintenance of parks, open spaces and sports pitches throughout the area.
Our own grounds maintenance staff carries out maintenance and inspections. Facilities such as play equipment, bins, benches and fencing are regularly checked for safety and defects.
Many of the parks also have leisure facilities, sport pitches and pavilions which can be hired from the Council for sports, tournaments and other events. Please read our Parks and Open Spaces pages for further information.
The Council is active in improving the floral and ecological interest of the Borough and participates in Britain In Bloom supporting local In Bloom committees and communities to meet their objectives.
