'Access' Leisure Discount Card

  • Are you in receipt of a benefit?
  • Are you a full time student over the age of 16?
  • Are you aged 60+?
  • Are you on a GP Referral scheme?

If you answered 'yes' to any of the above then you should apply for your FREE 'Access' discount card which offers you discounts at leisure and entertainment facilities in your local area.

The 'Access' card entitles you to discounted rates for the use of Wyre's YMCA facilities such as swimming pools, fitness and relaxation classes, gyms and sports courts.

You can use the 'Access' card at Fleetwood YMCA, Garstang YMCA Leisure Centre and Garstang YMCA Swimming, Poulton YMCA and Thornton YMCA, Monday to Friday until 3:30pm and at any time on Saturdays and Sundays.

What other discounts are available with the 'Access' discount card?

In addition to the discounted use of leisure facilities you will also receive discounts at selected entertainment venues and discounts for Walks and Countryside Events and outdoor recreational activities such as:

  • 10% off admission to midday events at Thornton Little Theatre including afternoon dances, Jazz sessions and poetry readings.
  • Take a friend on a guided tour of Marsh Mill for half price.
  • 20% discount on any shows at the Marine Hall the Waterfront Venue which are promoted by Wyre Borough Council.
  • 20% discount on outdoor facilities on Fleetwood Promenade including bowling, pitch and putt, crazy golf and putting.
  • Most of Wyre's Guided Walks cost £2 and Walkin' Wyre Health Walks are free.

With the 'Access' card, disabled people are able to bring up to two carers with them at no cost per visit.

How do I get my FREE 'Access' discount card?

In order to get your 'Access' card you must live in Wyre and you must also meet one of the following criteria:

How do I apply?

Simply visit the reception of any YMCA leisure centre in Wyre, along with your supporting documents as detailed above. A member of staff will complete the 'Access' application form with you.
