Preesall Cemetery
Preesall Cemetery was opened in 1856 and is the Borough's smallest cemetery. It originally had two burial areas, Church of England Sections A and B and Non-Conformist Section A.
In 1982 adjoining land was purchased and the new Church of England Sections C, D, F, and G, Non-Conformist Section D, Roman Catholic Sections E and G and the Cremated Remains Section CR1 were set aside.
We also have an area for the strewing of cremated remains.
The Cemetery accommodates two disused Chapels and is surrounded by the countryside making this a lovely resting place.
