Democratic Services
The Democratic Services team at Wyre provides administrative support and advice for:
- Members of the Council
- The Executive (Cabinet)
- The three Overview and Scrutiny Committees
- The Employment and Appeals Committee
- The Local Joint Consultative and Safety Panel
- The Regulatory Committees (Planning Committee and Licensing Committee)
Additionally they provide
- Support for the Mayoralty
- Assistance with general queries on Members of the Council
- Information about dates and times of Council meetings
- Information with regard to the Council's representation on outside bodies
- Co-ordination of training and development for elected council members
- They are the first point of contact for those requiring contact details for Parish and Town Councils within the Borough
