Ordnance Survey Material
The majority of maps displayed on Wyre's website are either 'Based Upon' or 'Reproduced From' Ordnance Survey material and are provided by Wyre Borough Council under licence (Licence No. 100018720) from Ordnance Survey. They are therefore subject to © Crown Copyright as detailed below.
Based Upon
A map is considered 'Based Upon' if it is not solely reproduced from Ordnance Survey (OS) material, for example: maps where an OS map has been altered or added to. It can also include hand drawn or computer generated maps where it is deemed that the author used OS material or knowledge as a basis for their illustration.
For all maps contained on Wyre's website that are 'Based Upon' OS material, the following statement applies:
