International Travel & Holidays Association Talk

Wednesday 3rd February 2010
The Association meets at 7.30pm approximately every fortnight usually on a Wednesday night from October to May, at the Concert Hall, Blackpool Sixth Form College. The meetings consist of travel talks with slides, provided by both local speakers and speakers who are professional authors, broadcasters, photographers and travellers. Annual membership is £10 and visitors may pay on the door for a fee of £3 per meeting. Tonight's talk is "Thailand by Car." Pam Dawson describes her journey by car from Bangkok to the north of Thailand.

"Raildays" - a winter weekend of model railways in various gauges, both club and locally invited. There are trade stands, static and demonstration stands, club sales stall and light refreshments available. One Night of Robbie

Wyldefyre

Wyldefyre is a fun, informative day taking place at Jubilee Gardens, Cleveleys for young people aged 13-19. There will be lots of fun activities such as static paintball, jewellery making, 5-a-side football, DJ competition, face painting and much more between 11am and 4pm. There is also a chance to get information, advice and guidance in an informal setting from organisations such as the Army, Fire and Rescue and the Young People's Service. What Lives Out There?

Join us for a series of walks and regular surveys of Fleetwood Beach to look at what the tides have brought ashore. Please wear warm clothes and wellies. The surveys are open to people interested in finding out more about coastal wildlife and will help us to look after our beaches. Family Fun Day - Pirates and Princesses
